i agree with bananaphone and others. while i definitely don't think this shirt is racist at all, racism would probably be less prevalent if people just stopped focusing upon the issue of race in general. i think it's pretty racist just to change something because the distribution of "races" isn't correct.



also, keep in mind that there's a 4-color limit to submitted designs, i believe.



oh, and i'm 100% chinese so it's not like i'm saying this as a person who has no perspective as being racially discriminated for being a minority. though the previous sentence makes me sound hypocritical, since there's plenty of "reverse" racism against whites.

I had started to work on the lighting of each individual masked off face and touch up all the layer masks, then I realized how much MORE time I was about to invest in that image and I decided to stop before I ruined the bobbleheaded perfection I had reached.

I truly did not believe that my original comment would cause such a ruckus with the people. Let me try to explain that I all meant was that I would have liked to have seen other races been represented, like the Best Buy advertisement. I realize that I did not create the design and my comment was in no way meant to be taken as a racist statement like "Hazelip" implied. Some people take life too seriously, *ahem, "Hazelip"* and that's fine too, but I was trying to make a point that I felt needed to be made. BTW, I bought this shirt and its one of my favourites. I also cannot believe it has been over a year since I wrote that. I never realized other people actually responded until now. Thanks for commenting and I hope this cleared everything up. :)
