Got my Threadless Alumni membership pack in the post today! Tis amazing. The medal is fairly random.
In the past I've just done traditional art, but got into t-shirt design recently. I like the idea of making something new, high-street fashion is all very similiar, and its a way of making art more practical. (So basically, showing off what you draw ;])
I have lots of ideas, but at the moment I've only been able to hand-paint designs on cheap t-shirts (Primani ;]). It works ok but is slow and limited. I know about screen-printing, but don't have the facilities, and at the moment technology is way beyond me compared to traditional methods. I'm always looking to improve and find out about new techniques and methods, so if anyone has any suggestions that would be great. It's hard to imagine being able to make such professional looking designs like some of the ones on here. If anyone's interested my traditional art, mostly colourful portaiture, is on http://fatbabydave.deviantart.com/ I've also got a youtube account, with stop motion, travel videos and more arty shite http://www.youtube.com/user/fatbabydave?feature=mhee Check it out bruvvaaaa Fatbabydave x |
