The Official Chicago Bulls Appreciation Thread

When I was 8 years old, I turned on the TV and saw this guy ↓ make a ridiculous basket going to the hoop.

Ever since then, I've been hooked on 12 dudes in red and white running around on a basketball court. I've watched the Bulls win 6 championships, suck for a while, and then become good again.

This blog is for anyone who cares about basketball, likes the Bulls, hates the Bulls, or can care less.

I will post random musings about Bulls history and post periodic updates throughout the season as the Chicago Bulls journey en route to their 7th championship this season.

Haha, I've grown up as a Knicks fan. Sadly it's "suck for my whole life and never be consistently good, but keep hoping it'll all come together one day with all this money their investing in *top* players" :(

it's so refreshing to see an elite athelete with both feet planted firmly on the ground, a ridiculous work ethic and an uncompromising love and respect for his mom.

i've been following them pretty closely this season

oh...and i grew up when the bulls sucked...drafted jordan...came together to dominate and you've already said the rest

jeff - i dunno, any owner who's hired Isiah Thomas to do anything has to be nuts. He set back your franchise 10 years. And you guys need a coach that knows what defense is.

This is likely my favorite vintage Jordan game.
I think about it whenever I don't feel well at work. I put my head down and keep shooting (off those emails) and at the end of the day i lean on Scottie Pippen (the wall) on my way to the elevator.

shirtflirt - Drose. Best strategy ever, get lucky with the #1 pick in the 2008 draft. The guy just fell into the Bulls lap. They'd be a lottery team without him.

Nathan - one of my favs too. I heard he was throwing up in the bathroom before and after that game. Even food-poisoning from Utah sabotagers cant stop him.

well, except for kwame brown, the number one pick in the nba is usually a commodity vs a bust.

He didn't fall into their lap. They coulda drafted a number of decent players from a few years ago. Really good players too. but they went with a chicago guy, with a good foundation.
