Someone help me out.

What colours can I use for tee-shirts? I've been criticised about non-existant tee-colours but why does Threadless accept the design then? Anyways, just wondering what colours I can and can't use.

That's why Threadless gives you a specific file to download...Contained is the correct template to use, along with a plethora of shirts & their colors.

As far as I know you can use any color created in CMYK (wich means that it should print) some RGB colors cannot be printed, so try to use CMYK to create your colors, create a swatch and use it

Pantone colours you mean?

I think he's asking about actual shirt colours, not the ink colours.

Plethora used in a sentence is good enough for me.

Botht he Flash and Photoshop templates have all of the shirt colors in them. What's weird (sorta) is that both files are in RGB for posting here, but all of your colors need to be switched to Pantone for press. If you don't know what Pantone colors are, you're probably a redneck.

I got crafty one day and built myself an illustrator document that has all the tee colors set up, similiar to the photoshop and flash files. I just work in that now. It also has the 13x13 design area setup. Maybe I'll share the file someday.

13" is the largest we can print... I don't know why it said 15" before

I made an illustrator file also. Some of the tee colours aren't reflected too well in the photoshop file, particularly royal, orange, etc, so I just copied the tee template & drop in the corrected colour before pasting in photoshop for submitting.

Yeah I was gonna do that in Illustrater too. Guess I'll check out bortwein's file first. Anyways yeah jtaro, after 4 shirts submitted you still haven't noticed the mandatory psd and flash files in the submit area?

It may not be a perfect template, but I like to think it works. I find the color transfer between it and the photoshop template are a bit off, but that is probably just the CMYK I have set to the RGB of the photoshop one.

check your Layers window in Illustrator. They should all be there. And the template I posted is only a 8x8 space setup at the moment but you can change that if you like.
