Saving as GIF troubles!!

Look, why do little lines and things appear when i save in paint as a GIF instead of BMP??? How do I prevent those lines?

You can see them in my first sub (disease)

Any help at all appreciated

if you're using illustrator, choose "save for web" and you can save as a gif. don't use paint.

it's easy for a someone new to illustrator to think you can't save gifs as the option isn't there under 'save as'.

just do what mike said.

Adobe ImageReady makes it very easy to streamline your GIFs. In some cases you may have no choice but to leave some of those artifacts, but for the most part you can clean it up better than that.
