That's a great shirt design. If you don't get it, than you aren't a New Yorker.

It's very "take that, tourists"! (But keep spending your money in NYC).

I'm from New York (central), and I was sort of sad because I thought this was a clever shirt but I had no reason to get it. After reading your post, I think I like your idea! Haha.

I think a better idea for a "take that, tourists!" thing would be to replace "I have never been to NY" to "I freaking live in NY".
