i work at a photography studio. i sit around adding typography onto pictures and creating stupid layouts for various print items. i also sit around and check out the various hot chicks comming in for photo shoots. pay sucks but i get to use a g5 with that huge widescreen mac monitor so it's pretty cool i guess.
anyway i have a not so fun job of being a rental agent for a rental car company. customers drive me freakin crazy, which is mainly why i hate working there. at least im earning some good money to help pay for school. im going to the art institute of dallas for graphic design.
I am a "Designer" now. My work is focsed on magazine cover layouts, and less often I do adverts, and in-house campaigns, and marketing media packs. I'll hopefully become "Art Director" in 3 years, unless I finished my studies, I'll be a "Scientist", or "Physicist" :)
In real life I'm an English student (read: future dolescum), but to earn a crust I also work in a call centre harassing the general public into doing surveys. You may hate me now.
I run a small ad agency, but that's just fancy talk for freelance in a real office space with no real employees but a good stable of sub-contractors I call my 'employees'. I also do some mean sidewalk chalkings that scare the neighborhood kids.
twirling around: i fold and organize the many piles of shirts that others have ravaged thru like wild beasts....
i pretty much run around all day folding and stacking shirts, over and over again. Sometimes it does get boring, but its a hell of alot better then flipping hamburgers, or working out in the hot sun. The pay isnt that bad either.
next Summer I'm going to be Civil Engineer.
