i'm looking into buying a wacom, but I have no idea what good specs are yet, so i'm researching a bit. does anyone have any suggestions for tablets? what models do you use? etc...

Intuous are the nicer, more expensives ones. I have a 4x6 graphire (I think...) and it's pretty okay, but then again I'm not a pro and I actually don't use it that much.

thank you. the more and more i read reviews online, the more i notice how subjective they are. most people have only used the one they have and they are happy with them. cnet isn't too good either. :/

if you haven't used one before, a graphire will work just fine. I started with a 6x8 graphire 3 I bought new on ebay for $99. It worked fine until I got an Intuos at work. Now I use an Intuos at home.

I think you can get a graphire3 (they have graphire 4s out now) for like $30 or so on ebay.

i've only played around with some on other people's comps. i was looking into the Intuos, because it was ranked highest, But with the high ranking comes a price a bit too pricey.

I will look into the graphire. thanks very much.
