Garden state was crap, whereas the shirt is quite good.

So NO. It doesn't remind me of Garden State...

UGGH what is everyone's obsession with GARDEN STATE. It was the first thing that popped into my head when I saw this shirt and it unpleasantly reminded me of this current movement that i'm not fond of, call it "mainstreaming the alternative", not a new concept by any means but it just takes the creative out of the independent to the point where everything looks and sounds like Death Cab for Cutie and people can be cool as long they derive their musical taste from the O.C. soundtrack. I fairly enjoyed the film the first time i saw it, I thought, hmmm fairly funny, a little too heavy handed. THEN when my friend dragged me back to see it a second time, it was possibly the worst thing i had ever seen.....

I just thought garden state was disappointing because.. well, I don't have a whole long reason for it. though it could be because I was expecting it to be so good.. and I LOVE zach braff.. so I WANTED to like it
anyway, garden state = good concept BUT poor execution :(

it's ok zach.. I still love you.. just stick to scrubs and you'll be fine..

ps.this shirt did not make me think of GS anyway.

this shirt just made me think...what's the lady in the design's problem, and where did the designer download the pattern?

I thought that the movie would have been fine if it had ended like his dreamfrom the beginning. That would have made it alright. But as it stands I feel the same about this shirt as I did about the movie:
engh...

ps- I was born in the garden state...
