I've always imagined that the swirls of colour on a bubble's surface were rainbowed clouds of another world. They were always so similar to the far-away satellite images of the earth and solar system...

The planets are in (almost) proper orbit for April 23, 1982 (thank you Celestia) which just happens to be my birthday...
