honestly i don't love most chevy's but i really liked the cruze and the features /price was good.

The main reason I don't like Chevy's is that they REFUSE to put navigation systems in their cars, they insist on that On*star stuff. but I like the look of most of their cars, even the Aveo.

yeah.. it does indeed have navigation (thru onstar) meh... my andriod phone has nav also however.

oh for the love of god... I see my luck that it rains on every car i buy the next day is continuing.... i kinda thought moving to socal would break the streak...but no... it hasn't

oh well. car drives quite nice in the rain however I can now tell y'all that much.

nice to have working heat and a/c again also =p my poor old volvo had the ac broken forevar and the heater motor went a month or so ago...that volvo was/is a great car however we have had many adventures with at thing... I still have it right now.. I should probably sell it however.

hah, very nice car. Sucks it had to rain on your nice new car the day after you bought it. But I'm happy the rains held off as long as it has. All the rubber seals on my car are so bad that when it rains its like riding in a colander :P lol the price I pay for "style".

my volvo leaks if i'm honest and fogs up like a bastard in the rain... which is more of a problem now that the heater motor went (no defrost so....hard to clear windscreen)

Classic motoring has it's price apparently.

it is pretty nice...it is honestly sort of nerve racking to have a car payment after going without one for 9~ years. But with the deal with my wife i needed to have a reliable car to get to the doctors stuff.

payments are pretty reasonable anyways (blah blah haggling for the win + down payment of certain significant amount.)

thats great you've got something reliable. That's totally important with the driving. It also feels good when you know you've gotten a good deal. When I had car payments I set them up to recur on a specific day every month so I didn't have to remember to send the payments myself.

yeah.. we set up a account with (currently..before we get our bonuses next month) 1yr of payments in it ( have other money some of which is pretty liquid... some of which is in some longer term stuff) but anyways the car payments will be auto paid every month so we shouldn't have to worry about that (double checking obviously) but we should be all set there.

the thought of having to make numerous 20~ish mile trips (each way) to the dr. appointments was scaring the hell out of me if i was having to rely on the old volvo.

there is an awful lot to think about right about now ...

on the upside since the new car get's +twice the gas milage we will be saving some on gas on the runs i guess..

40mile round trip would be about 3gallons of gas with the Volvo =p

so truth be known

for zero defensible reasons i really wanted a full size GMC Sierra Crew cab pickup truck

but those would have been much more money and obviously (i suppose) a lot more expensive to run.

I'm pretty proud of myself for choosing a nice / but reasonably priced car made in america that gets 30+ mpgs

maybe later i can get my giant truck i don't really need???

fuck i want one however...

before other stuff happened i tried to convince mrs dingo we should get a truck with the argument

CITY UP FRONT ....COUNTRY OUT BACK... but she was unconvinced (probably for the best i guess.)
