LONDON, July 7 (UPI) -- Toddlers who say "yuck" when given flavorful foreign food may be exhibiting racist behavior, a British government-sponsored organization says.

The London-based National Children's Bureau released a 366-page guide counseling adults on recognizing racist behavior in young children, The Telegraph reported Monday.

The guide, titled Young Children and Racial Justice, warns adults that babies must also be included in the effort to eliminate racism because they have the ability to "recognize different people in their lives."

I have always heard that little kids have more sensitive taste buds than adults hence kids not really caring for spicy / strong dishes local or foreign ???

maybe they mean that they are saying yuck before even trying it? is that a stretch to try and make sense of why someone saying yuck to a food would be racist? I don't like eggplant and will certainly say yuck if forced to eat it, what does that make me?

Racism:

1. a belief or doctrine that inherent differences among the various human races determine cultural or individual achievement, usually involving the idea that one's own race is superior and has the right to rule others.
2. a policy, system of government, etc., based upon or fostering such a doctrine; discrimination.
3. hatred or intolerance of another race or other races.

There is nothing in there about food! if i ever get stranded somewhere and am forced to go the path of the donner party, will i be accused of being racist if i say, "this white guy is kind of gamey"

This is silly.

I don't like a lot of foods that are from where I live, but that doesn't mean I am racist. Kids do have super sensitive taste buds, its why they don't like things like spinach.
