Another tattoo of a threadless shirt!

Who knew apparel inspired so many permenant works of art?

How do people explain where they found the design?

"Well, I saw this sweet t-shirt online..."

some people should know better...

i mean no offense, but tattoos are bad if you're slightly "large" and you obviously aspire to lose most of that "largeness" one day, the design gets rather shruken and uneven.

or if you get a tattoo because you saw it on a shirt... *blank stare*

I think it's lovely. I'm a fat woman, and I was glad to see the beautiful fat ladies on the shirt. I'd say, since the fat lady in the picture got a tattoo of a fat lady, she's actually not "aspiring" to lose any weight. It's true, some of us fat ladies have accepted that this is our shape. Unless we sit on you, I don't suppose it will hurt you, right? By your logic, we could advise all young people not to get tattooed, because everyone knows you're going to be fatter when you get older, and then your tattoo will get all stretched out. Also, we should smack everyone who got a tattoo for a "wrong" reason...What was the "right" reason again?

i saw this tattoo quite awhile ago on deviantart.com. personally, i think it's great... but i'm also a huge fan of the shirt itself!

what's the big deal about getting a tattoo of an image that you find attractive or meaningful? i, too, am a fat woman and [gasp!] i don't hate my body, i embrace it. kudos to whoever got the tattoo, and definitely to whoever gave it.

ps-the entire POINT of a tattoo is to have something that will stay on your body forever, not so it looks good for a few years and then goes away. for those of us who get tattoos, we're not so much concerned about what it'll look like when we're 80, but that this thing that means so much to us is constantly with us, a reminder of something meaningful. if looking good is what a person is going for, all they need to do is walk into a mall and buy some hideous piece of soon-to-be fashion history.

When I am eighty, I will walk into a tattoo parlor and say, "Yo will this social security check cover what I want?" I will be wearing my Greetings from the Ghetto shirt and driving a hovercraft.
