  • Great image. Great book. I agree that the arms could use a little work, and I'd love to see the sheep's power cord do something a little more interesting (now that I look at it I can't I can't believe I didn't see it, but it definitely took me two times to realize the tail was a cord). I also wonder if you could get away with a two-color version (making everything that's dark blue black).

Also, don't worry about assholes like ButteredToast. It's a great image and concept.

  • Great illustration. I agree that the bullet detracts from the image. I also strongly believe that the shadow hurts more than it helps. But I think that the rough look and gun barrel are great (in fact it's the rough look of the image that makes it). Great job!

  • The illustration's nice, but the text is, in my opinion, far too integrated into the image. You're giving the specs of a cassette, so I feel like it should be much closer to a left-justified static list or a table of some sort. If you could find real specs (perhaps injection mold instructions) it could be really effective.

  • Great idea. I'm not a big fan of the actual execution--particularly the sun. Though the illustration has a fine simply-drawn look to it, the sun's rays seem to be too, "I took my mouse and made a squiggly."

  • Great illustration. Clean style. I agree that it could be moved up a bit, though.
