thejessefactor aka Jesse Cooper is a boy, has been a member since May 8, 2005, has scored 720 submissions, giving an average score of 2.91, helping 7 designs get printed.
My first submission to make it in the contest is dedicated to suicides that go unnoticed, and that's the message me as the artist is trying to convey. If you want to dedicate it to base jumping go right ahead.

Anyway, I've decided that if my shirt makes it to print, I will donate (300+) of my prize money to a suicide prevention charity or clinic. I think it's only appropriate, because otherwise I'd be capitalising on tragedies, and that's not very nice.

I hope you take it into consideration when you vote (http://threadless.com/submission/46202/Take_The_Dive) and comment. The money will be going to a good cause, and the remainder will be going to probably buying more shirts or maybe joining the 12 club.

Thanks.
Jesse

She's a "fan."

Looks more like a slut...

But that's just me.

With blog entries such as " Only Nazi's will vote Kerry" on your site, how could anyone give your submissions high scores?
cmclemor
cmclemor on Aug 02 '05 at 6:20pm
Oh, even better. Your site has an entry titled " Black History Month is the biggest crock of sh*t ever." Classy.

So based on political opinions your going to blackball it? Apparently you need to read those articles to see the arguments about it. Everyone has an opinion and artistically I should be measured by emotion ventings I do over the internet. Grow up.

I was being sarcastic. Of course I won't score your design poorly because of your opinion. And no, I don't need to read an article entitled "Only Nazi's will vote for Kerry" written by a 15 year old kid with poor grammar and limited perspective.

I don't like your style of comedy. You're like Lewis Black. All you do is whine, and I can't really identify with you at all. You're sort of like Howard Stern too, because it seems like you're trying too hard to shock people.

I didn't mind the whole thing so much as that 60 page speech/rant. Holy christ. We GET IT, AYN.

if you could actually make a submission that got past 100 votes i would be giving it a zero right now.

twniehaus: Heh heh, actually, I was shouting at actual Ayn Rand who wrote Atlas Shrugged, which is where Who Is John Galt is from. In the book, she has a speech that runs for 60 (yes, SIXTY) pages and is basically numbing mindless reiteration.

Thanks for loving me anyway, even in error. ;)

Funny how everything turns out after your unintentionally placed in the political spectrum.

l_h_f: Exactly! It's like "Okay, you've just read 400+ pages of a story which details Ayn Rand's Objectivist philosophy. Now here's another 50 pages that... deatails Ayn Rand's Objectivist philosophy!" I skipped that part completely after I realized what she was doing.

"Ayn" rhymes with "mine."
little_hobbit_feet
little_hobbit_feet on Aug 02 '05 at 11:13pm
In my head, I say it more like the way the seaguls in Finding Nemo said "mine." Kind of... mayan. But with a much softer second "a".

I only read six pages of the speech before I felt like tearing the book to shreads, so I skimmed the rest. While I agree with some of her ideas, beating philosophy into our minds isn't one of them. ;)

Isn't it interesting how all of the "good guys" are attractive and smart and all of the "bad guys" are ugly and stupid. Not trying to sway anyone's judgments there...
