Love it! You have this fantastic style and tone to your work.
and your character designs are superb.

As far as colors something like your B movie print
would probably work. Have the cats be black on a red shirt.
maybe a dark red for the shadow and leave the whites as is.

I'm gonna try a red color scheme, but this was the original version... On ORANGE. Or like a burnt orange.

For some reason, seems unfinished. Love the idea and the female shadow shape the cats mimic is so well done. Just feels a but rough compared to recent designs in this same wheelhouse

thanks guys!! I'd been working too long at this without an outside perspective so I appreciate the comments. And thanks David, I think I was waiting for someone to tell me that. I'm not completely happy with it either so I'll keep at it. I was trying to get it in before the Loves Death deadline, but I think there are plenty of other designs that fit the brief better so I'll probably just take my time with this and not worry about getting it in by the deadline.

it's raining cats and cats in this blog! Thanks guys.
Luigi, I wish I had a cool proccess for these designs but it's usually just me messing around in photoshop and making mistakes until I like what I see. Next time I'll screencap the progress.
