from what skaw posted on how people commented on goatse i noticed that goatse only had an average score of 2.46....thats kinda bad i think but i think the scoring really should lie in the hands of the consumer not the producer...if there has to be a set standard for score it should be 3.5

the score for this shirt was aprox. 2,5 because its a controversial topic. you love it (5) or you hate it (0). and the people who love it, will certainly buy it, therefore its money for threadless... if a shirt gets 3,5, because its well-done, but nobody wants to wear it, it wont make money for threadless. i think its good that threadless-crew choses, as long as there will be more better decisions in the future, else i'm off...

I still don't get why it's an OMG Tee if it was submitted and voted on as a threadless tee.

it's probably because it's more text than image based.



a 3.5 cut off would leave threadless with only 24 shirts ever printed, and that's including the ones they haven't printed yet for whatever reason within that score bracket.

Often, my fav. submissions are 2.5-2.75 scores and NOT 3.5 scores. I'm glad scores are a suggestion and not a requirement. With that said, I'm not a fan of Goatse shirt. Not funny, bad colors, not my design style.
