I was previously a graphic design student, but switched out of the department when it became clear the program was too rigid and a lot of the creativity was lacking in other students. I still love art and especially like the opportunity Threadless gives new designers.

My username has nothing to do with Alice in Wonderland, although I love the story. Instead, it is a reference to the history of the playing card. Hearts as a suit represented the clergy in Europe. In Paris, the Queen of Hearts was Judith, who was tired of her kinsmen expecting God to save them from conquering foreigners and took things into her own hands. She gained access to the leader's tent and cut off his head, saving her people and dispersing the attacking people.
