Hey!!

We have been quite busy these last weeks.
We completely reworked our website – we made it much more easy to navigate and you get a better view on all our work which can be quite different from our t shirt stuff. We also added a few older works, starting 2006!!

We just added two more patches for a Hoodie version!
Think this looks pretty dope! And I was bummed because I had made the Blacksmith patch already but probably forgot to save or so because it was gone and forgotten when we finished the design! So I've drawn it again!

Hey, right now we're working on a design with some bad ass horse who loves Heavy Metal and wears a jeans west plastered with patches. For the patches we thought to rename some famous Heavy Metal Bands so they sound a bit more horse-y.

So far we have:
Mot�rhead - Mot�rh�rse
Metallica - Maretallica
Iron Maiden - Iron Mane
Def Leppard - Def Klepper (Klepper is the german word for an old horse)
Slayer - Sleigher
AC/DC - FU/RY

We thought quite a while about this but english not being our native language, it wasnt so easy, if any of you could think of something for those bands that would be awesome:
M�tley Cr�e, Ozzy Osbourne, Black Sabbath, Judas Priest, Manowar, Megadeth, Nazareth

Or do you have any other suggestions? Here is a screenshot of a first sketch and some band patches we already did! Hope you like the idea! And thanks for your input :))

We've subbed a new design, I have a feeling people will either love it or hate it! :D Either way, we had big fun drawing it :D

Hey everybody,
we've been working on a few designs right now. One of them we started doing about 3 months ago, always worked a bit on it and changed stuff/directions. Maybe it's finally finished, but we've worked too long on it and can't decide anymore!

We wanted to make some design with a "cool cat"! First he was driving a moped, then we changed it into a cooler car. Then the illustration was going to get a background of some kind of backstreet, but we really didnt like how it looked on the shirt so we removed it and gave him a (little bitchy) girlfriend instead.
The guy cat is my old roommate cat Leni by the way :D

Do any of you have suggestions? Do you think we should add some more details? (like tattoos or ear rings or stuff like that) Or do you think it's finished? Some opinions would be appreciated :) Thanks!

Anyway, we always like looking at those WIP blogs so here is the development:

Hello!!
We made a little collab with Randyotter3000 and thought it would be nice to show you guys the different steps of progress (because there were quite a few!)
We actually had this idea about 1 1/2 years ago, started drawing it and really didnt like it at all, so it kind of rotted on our computers.

This June we asked Aaron if he would like to collab beacause we love the cute characters he draws and thought he would be perfect! We really are not so much illustrating characters at all but still loved the concept of this design enough to want to do a collab.

This was our first try:


Aaron sketched it completely new, we made a few changes together to fit it better on a shirt...





The first coloring.. didnt like it again... and started again!



This time with inking...



Finally liked it, and colored it.



Still liked it, but thought: "Wouldnt it be cooler if there was even more fruits?"


Aaron said "The more the better hey?" and drew up more characters :)


All new arrangement and a few additions and it looked like this...



...but we decided to put the muscle apple boy up with the rest. We added even more and rearranged it again and then we were finally DONE!!! It was really nice working with Aaron and we hope you enjoy this as much as we do. Tell us your favorite character - I really cant decide, but probably the muscle apple boy :)

Hello Threadless people,

we've been totally m.i.a. from threadless the last weeks even though we have some nice t shirt ideas and cant wait to draw them. But I (Sandra) had my final exam at art school yesterday and Annika helped me making the website for it. (We've also been to some holidays :))

I created 4 different display fonts, they have up to 6 different styles. I also made some two-sided posters and some stickers for promotion aswell.

On the website there is a generator where you can test the fonts, but unfortunately flash is not supporting the kerning function! (The are actually kerned, but it doesnt look like it in the Generator) But it's fun playing around and writing stuff there anyway!

I (and Annika too) plan on doing some more fonts soon, it's pretty fun :)

Hey everybody,
we wanted to participate in the minimalism challenge and were thinking and thinking and hopefully its not too late now that we finally came up with something! Anyway, we wanted to show you guys this and maybe get some feedback? We have a few versions to show, we guess you can spot easily that it's a keyboard on a shirt or the shirt as the keyboard. have you seen something like this before somewhere? We googled it but havent found anything similar but we keep thinking it might have been done, we dont really know why ;) Which version do you like most? Do you even like it at all? Feedback would be appreciated :)
