Deviant Art does have alot of crap on it, but alot of the designs that are submitted here are also crap.

At Deviant Art you can get some serious critiques on your work if you show it to the right people. Critiques are always helpful.

I like deviant art because if you find some artists you really like you can keep track of their artwork, and if your bored you can browse around and find a lot of really amazing photos and artwork.

i enjoy devart and threadless and sure there's some "interesting" works of art, but some people are proud of their work, so i don't feel the need to be harsh on them. my work's pretty rough as it is....

I could spend hours browsing the site...though most people do only leave one word comments. I don't really mind, though.

I have my own damned site. DA is just way too crappily designed to even make sense of.

I'm with Lexxy on deviant art. Though I don't know how receptive Eatpoo would be to an influx of people from this site. Especially since there's a larger focus on Illustration/Painting than design. My experience is that "real" artists have disdain for designers.
