make sure you leave some of the line work alone... without colur

i think mayb keep parts of it white and other parts in the shirt colour. if it looks crap my bad but try it...

Bold up it some more making sure you have lines of various weights. I'd try pastel colors with this design. It would make it look like a watercolor.
