The ties that bind...

Somebody had mentioned an instant kinship that they felt when they saw another person in a threadless shirt and it reminded me of my own experience.
I have a very specific model of a pretty popular car, and it's pretty easy to spot the specific model if you know what you're looking for. Well, I'd noticed one that I seemed to cross paths with on a regular basis, and one day, we happened to stop at the gas station at the same time.
Now, not only is this the same specific model, it's even the same color. So anyways, we kinda make eye contact and give each other a manly head-nod, and I say "nice car." Kinda like how, if you're dating a girl who has a twin, you'd nod at her sister's boyfriend and say "nice chick."
Nothing else was said, but now, whenever we cross paths, we nod, or flash our whiteboy gang-signs to each other. It's kinda weird.
I'm figuring that anal can't be too far behind.

So, what ties bind you to strangers?
For me, in the instances that I've noticed, it's:
1. My car
2. the Angels (baseball team)
3. Sexy people
4. Black people
