are the 12 Month Club subscriptions still worth it?

about 12 Club Subscription

I have been a 12 month club member for the past 4 years, but now all of a sudden I am contemplating whether it is really worth resubscribing.

With Threadless constantly having sales throughout the year, and $10 or less t-shirts always on hand, is paying $16.60 for a t-shirt really worth it anymore?
Yes, this price factors in individual postage, and it is great receiving a limited once only print, but when I have the option of buying 20+ for the same price, it doesn’t seem so appealing anymore.

What are people’s thoughts?

I like the idea of being surprised every month with a new tshirt, one that I didn't pick out myself to broaden my tastes and my wardrobes.

But at the same time they put out tshirts like the December 2008 tee - and I feel slightly ripped off. You look at all his other fabulous work that got printed, then you look at the black 'T' and wonder why? Specially when I could of spent less money on a tshirt that I really enjoyed.

i think it's worth it because you can always come onto the blogs and try to sell the ones you don't like for triple the price.

That "T" shirt was fabulous, and I'm totally jealous of all 12 month members.

I actually think they've been getting better. I saw several last year, that made me wish I was a member.
