So I'm a New Media Design major and we get grades for making fun flash stuff and such. Thought some of you might be inetersted. The assignment was to create a grid system where a user could make a path and have something follow the path.
I decided to do an antfarm and went a little above the requirements. You can specify the type of ant, speed, and how many. They dynamically choose their path if there's an intersection and detect path ends. The only thing I couldn't get to work was the online save/load, if anyone knows how to do this or knows a tutorial let me know! it has to save a string of the tile types, the username, and the trackname. anyways, check it out: http://www.rit.edu/~jjs0321/pnm/antfarm I was very proud of it :) Oh I almost forgot, the red and black ants will fight if they're in the same antfarm... so you can have ant wars... mhuahaha
