I come from the water, that weren't no easy thing, it's more than nature, it's like my destiny.... no wait a second, those are the lyrics to a Toadies song. I come from a small farming/arts n'crafts community in Ohio. Exciting, right?! Someone has a field of amber waves of grain, next to that a herd of Elk graze lazily, and a wooden carving of a giraffe used to stand proudly amongst the turn of the century buildings of "downtown". As humdrum as things might seem on the surface, there are always things that are exciting, silly, strange and a little eccentric. And those are the qualities that I hope to show to you with my artwork.
