Any of you still remember your first impressions of Threadless? The shirts or line-up you saw on the frontpage, setting the mood for what it was all bout.

For me it was about a year ago, not really that long ago so I can still remember it very well. There was a shirt line-up with a lot of really interesting visual concepts, and I remembered being really amazed by them. Such strange but awesome ideas, how the hell did they come up with that?

These still inspire me to these day, I guess they also have an extra magical coating just because they happened to be there at the that time of my first impression. Anyone still remember theirs?

I remember being confused, having a hard time telling the difference between what I could buy and what was in the contest. Also, I thought I'd never be good enough to submit anything. I think I might still think that.

Fo me I think the first one that stood out on the front page was 'executioner is a fun job.' I can remember seeing that on the front page the first week I submitted anyway and thinking it was awesome.

I remember seeing the devil making angels in the snow... I wish I'd bought that one... Now I buy too many shirts! I can't seem to get my designs much past the first 24 hours of voting, however, and I'm trying not to take it personally. :o)

It is a learning process to submit designs that y'all like!

I did a Google search for cool t-shirts and bought this one:

I'm just waiting on threadless.com/all to load so I can see what shirts were new when I joined.

My first two shirts were

It was that time in my life when I was really into little cute things and I pretty much liked any shirt that had a little character of some kind on it.

I thought all the models in the design mock-ups were the people that made that particular shirt.

I was drawn here because of an online friend's picture of a shirt that said "Pickles are Cucumbers Soaked in Evil." That became my first shirt followed by Foxy and She'll Never Even Realize.

This was one of the new shirts the week I joined:

I remember finding it all new and exciting and every shirt from my first couple of months here still reminds me of that feeling.

I think this was the first shirt I voted on that was printed:
