I'm leaving you forever. Or a couple months. We'll see.

Love,

Robert

I'm starting to understand why ppl. are calling it quits. It's getting frustrating when you try and submit quality and get 2.49 whilst others are submitting generic robots, deers, hearts, giraffes with skulls and get in excess of 3.50. This new teeny bopper demographic is giving me the shits.

I can feel that. But, for some reason I'm still totally drawn to this site.

It's a shame to see people leave. (:() This is a good site. Threadless... maybe you need a site dedicated to the boppers and another dedicated to the "pros". Maybe put a fee on the pro site or by invite only or something... I don't know... just silly thoughts floating in my empty head.

I don't blame him if its for the reasons mentioned above.

This site was great at first, but I'm getting kinda tired with it.

Its also kind of frustrating when there's designers like Glennz who submit stuff and before people even see it are going crazy with $5's. No offense to him because I agree his work is great but its to the point that he could post robots, razors, hearts, guns, and drips and people would be falling over each other to give $5's but some other person does that and they're zeroed out in a matter of hours.

In the genius words of The Dead Milkmen, "Jumping Jesus on a pogo stick"...Stop pouting!

Yes, this site appears to have devanced a bit in the quality of submissions/print...but is it really going to change if people who post good works of art/design, like Roboshobo, decide to up & leave? NO. If anything, that makes matters worse. Your voice can be heard, but only if you stay dedicated to making a difference.

Leaving is a big fat cop-out.
The, the *true* enemies have won.

Yeah, I really think you should keep plugging away at it man. If anything, you may at least get snatched up by all the professionals looking for talent on this site. Let's be honest here, the community at large won't notice in the slightest if the good designers leave. Stay active, stay vocal, and maybe you guys won't be the minority for long. At the very least it's good practice, and you have some input on your work which can easily be applied towards your portfolio.

Professional work? WIMP! You should be spending every spare moment either thinking about or working on designs for this contest. Jumpin' Jesus!

I dunno if the quality level on this site has suffered at all. I do think, though, the community is growing, so of course we see more crap. It's hard to design a t-shirt...if it were just about making a pretty pic, there's a bunch a good illustrators who would've been printed a bunch already. If a guy like Glennz gets raves, it's cuz he knows what people like. It works, too...he's got something like 4 printed. Same with arzie.

See ya around, Robo. Take care!

Yup, yur right e.k. Why does it seem like he's got more? It's arzie I was thinking of...five at my last count.

Yeah, I've been noticing a slow gradual downgrade of quality of submissions. I don't know, maybe I'm just real picky.

But its weird seeing a really bad design getting positive comments.

Good luck Roboshobo.
