you know how everyone is into typography/fonts these days?

has anyone used geography typography as a font?

and if not, how stupid would it be to have a shirt that says TYPO w/ the geography typography font along w/ an eraser or a bottle of white-out?

i mean. it seems like the first thing a person would want to do since it is so obvious.

i'm guessing it's been done.

and on a totally unrelated note except for timing, i need help deciding whether or not this hat needs a NOSE

fox w/o nose

fox with a nose

the first set of ears i made were all wrong so last night i attached one of them as the snout. this morning i regretted it and thought it looked like a bird. now i have this extra nose (really, it was for another project that i accidentally made too many pink noses and attached one of those to the hat leaving this one, but i digress) and i don't know if attaching it will help the hat. also, i've never attached one like that and am afraid it will suxors.

so, to review:
YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY
and
hmmmmm

EDIT: here's some decent work at home (WAH) sites i found.

but first
-you might want to create an email just for these, because you will need more to join than one to make any money and they send most requests by email
-make sure you have paypal, some send money that way
-not all pay in money. some use gift certificates or points to put you in drawings for money. most have a limit that you can cash-out on.
-if you are prone to lie, keep track of it or you will get booted
-keep at it! most businesses will send you more work the longer you stick with them.
-if you don't qualify for a survey, you probably won't get paid
-short surveys are usually sent to determine if you qualify for the real thing
-if asked for a referral, PLEASE use ladylilac*gmail
-if one sucks, please tell me and i'll delete it

the list thus far (bold ones i like):

American Consumer Opinion - pays by check

Baker Street Solutions - heard good things, haven't gotten contacted by them yet

Boomer Towne - not a survey business, points for visa gift card; i'm a member but don't know if it is worth it

Choozz - pay in cash or prizes; haven't qualified for anything w/ them yet

DataIntelligence - cash and prizes; not currently surveying but will put you on their list

Focus Pointe Online - online and on location; cash

Global Survey Group (sorry no link at the moment, search the web) - will sign you up to a bunch of other survey companies of your choosing, not sure about this one

InHome Product Testing - you get to keep the full-sized products

Lightspeed Panel - points for cash or prizes; got a few surveys through them

MyOpinion Now - points for cash/prizes; heard good things but haven't been contacted by them

Mindfield Online - pay cash and prizes; have contacted me frequently

NPDOR - drawings for prizes and sometimes cash; haven't done much with them

Pinecone Research - pay cash, maybe prizes; recommended by hanzabean

Polling Point - points for prizes; have a lot of for-fun polls; haven't been contacted much for them

Scour Search - pay visa gift cards for searching the web; not a survey site! i love this because i'm constantly searching the web, but it isn't for everyone.

Survey Savvy - cash, if you don't qualify for survey they put you into a drawing for cash; been sent a few but haven't qualified

Test Spin - gift cards; haven't qualified for any of their surveys

Valued Opinions - cash and prizes; contacted occasionally

MISC sites i either don't have the right browser/computer, am not interested in their services for my situation but are still good companies, or haven't had a chance to test myself but will:

LiveOps - requires phone
WestAtHome - requires phone
VocaLabs -requires phone
ChaCha -requires Foxfire, pass a test, fill out a W9; get paid $.02 per answered web question
Keynote Systems
AW $urveys
Treasure Troopers
Permission Research
pureprofile
MySurvey
Greenfield Online
Opinion Outpost
E-Poll Surveys
SurveyLion
Free Paid Surveys

ORIGINAL BLOG

is there a decent work-from-home way to make some additional cash (in a non-sexual context here folks, let's keep it legal)?

i know a lot of you can do extra design work, but that's not a talent of mine.

anyhow, i've got loads of doctor bills coming up super duper fast and just thought i'd toss this out there in the off-chance that someone knows of something that doesn't require me to "make an investment" beforehand.

thanks.

has anyone yet designed the cast of MASH (the tv show) playing MASH (the grade school game)?

i sorta imagine seeing the characters from the back, they are using one of those pull down wall maps but have a piece of paper over it with the on-going game. the subtle jokes would be in the categories, of course.

there would probably need to be something about the guy in the dress.
