is there any way to get the info from a floppy disc onto a computer w/ no disc drive?

like an attachment machine of magic?

i'm finding stuff i've been looking for for ages; no way to access the files therein.



please help me interweb nerdghods!

you can buy a USB floppy drive pretty cheap these days

I know there are detachable disk drives....not sure how easy to obtain / compatible with new computers they are.

these are the official names?
-usb floppy drive
-detachable disc drive

are those just computer parts that i can plug into my laptop like i would a scanner/camera/flash drive

sorry if these are stupid questions

i promise to search the web on my own once i find out what i'm looking for

the link i posted has USB floppy drives. you just plug 'em in like any other usb device.

O, sorry, I'm at work, i only saw the harder more "mordern" floppy picture if you have an old-school picture up there as well. Damn filters that only half-work!

What did those old floppies hold? Like 32kb of info aka one reasonably long college paper?

sometimes on newer systems if you rub them up against your computer really hard, the data transmits wirelessly
