So, that was fun. There was only one person from my initial list that didn’t get anything because she stopped blogging and her emails bounced back; I made up for it by adding many others though. This is the first major project that I’ve ever finished that was completely my own doing, and it is astonishing to see the end results. A big thank you for everyone who participated and encouraged along the way. I hope to someday soon have an etsy store, but maybe just use it as a way to keep track of art swaps.

NOTE: if you want wicked-cool crafty goodness, HEAD OVER TO KIRSTEN'S ETSY. for realz!

Also, I got to wear my scarf the other day b/c it was super chilly... it did an excellent job of warming me up. In style!

Are those all crocheted? The multi-colored third scarf looks knitted to me.
Also, how did you do that loopy green scarf? Are those interlocking circles?

on a related note, I start loom-knitting my first scarf this week :) I love it since it was easy to learn and it keeps my hands out of the cookie jar (literally)! It's nothing as crazy creative as your stuff tho.

I never even caught on that you were doing all that as a blogger project for the past year! That's super sweet of you :) I'm doing something similar with the tee pillows -- I probably should consider trades in lieu of moneys too :)

I'd love to have a chelly-made crafty goody. If you're ever willing and if I can think of a creative idea, I can pay you :) Or I could trade you a tee pillow, too.

sometimes, but in general it is quite simple. knitting sounds pretty interesting too. i hope to learn it one day.

If I paid you monies, would you make me a Ghost World hat, too?

i'd much rather make something i've never made before, based on your own interests and personality. i'll be thinking about it, ok?

MooseDinner on Nov 09 '07 at 11:06pm
Are those all crocheted? The multi-colored third scarf looks knitted to me.
Also, how did you do that loopy green scarf? Are those interlocking circles?

yep, all crochet. the loopy scarf is interlocking rings (like what we used to do as kids w/ construction paper).

sounds like a fair trade. i'd love some telaine goodies. right now, however, i am taking a small break to just enjoy what i've accomplished and hopefully refresh myself.

that sounds totally reasonable, if you think of a threadless tee that you'd like as a pillow, I'll watch for it on rethreaded :)

FA's and Joe's scarves are wonderful! As are the eyeball and ninja turtle hats, and everything else!

If I come up with an idea, do you think you'd be able to make me a couple of hats for my nephews in time for Christmas? I'd pay of course.
