*this blog does not promise that herky will answer said question, but encourages additional questions regardless

why don't you post gallery photos?

so, i know very little about you (no web site link, no photos, nada). how's that secrecy work as far as your art is concerned?

please recommend one cartoon and one children's book.

what would you like to ask the ppl who vote on your designs?

what is your cult going to be called?

how much time do you find you generally spend on a design?

have you ever had your heart broken?

what do you personally feel is your strongest tee design to date?

i grew up in a town w/ a radio station that only had elevator music. knowing this, what other music do you recommend i listen to next?

what is your time machine (made out of)? where are you headed in said machine and why?

what makes you shake your head?

most importantly, what makes you shake your rumpah?

etc. later

do you save the pictures from the product gallery of the people who bought your shirt?

what else do you dabble in artistically besides tee design?

Wow I just saw this today chelly and I don't know what to say-I mean I'm very flattered and the pressure is on. As I warned you before, I'm a very uninteresting bloke and kind of a private person. Well here goes my feeble attempt to "chat" with you. (These questions are tough).

Q: Why don't you post gallery photos?
A: It could be due to the fact that I'm originally from Transylvania and you know us vampires can't cast reflections (I know you must have seen seen "Fright Night"). I don't know, I believe Raid71 once pointed out that the camera steals your soul. I guess I like to keep things a mystery. Also "StevetheGreat" could be on to something. This is an exclusive sneak-peek of me.

Q: So, i know very little about you (no web site link, no photos, nada). how's that secrecy work as far as your art is concerned?
A: I'm not sure how it impacts my art but it is a plus for me if I ever decide to become an undercover ATF agent. Seriously, I do plan to create a website one day (if I can only correct my procrastinating ways).

Q: Please recommend one cartoon and one children's book.
A: Cartoon: "Ren & Stimpy" or classic "Looney Tunes" -because I like the wacky characters and drawing style.
Book: Anything by Dr. Seuss (Green Eggs & Ham, ect.)

Q: What would you like to ask the ppl who vote on your designs?
A: Selfish and delusional answer: Only vote 5 and $Buy
Realistic and PC answer: Just vote or comment honestly/tactfully on how you feel about the design whether it "floats your boat or not."

Q: What is your cult going to be called?
A: "The Sunshine Carpet Cleaners/Designers" *Seinfeld reference

Q: How much time do you find you generally spend on a design?
A: It all depends, anywhere from several hours to several days-it's probably the latter because of my procrastination problem.

Q: Have you ever had your heart broken?
A: No, but I've experienced temporary numbness with my spinal cord which has severely hampered my "front to back and vice-versa" wiping capablilities. (just joking Mezo) I guess everyone has had their heart broken at one time or another.

Q: What do you personally feel is your strongest tee design to date?
A: I'm not really certain, I enjoyed working on my last two designs, but I guess it's the one that's been selected to print "Silly Rabbit'".

Q: I grew up in a town w/ a radio station that only had elevator music. knowing this, what other music do you recommend i listen to next?
A: I wish I could recommend something, but I'm not much of a music person myself. I kind of acquire my music knowledge from reading and downloading some of the suggestions and offerings from the Threadless blogging community.

Q: What is your time machine (made out of)? Where are you headed in said machine and why?
A: My time machine is a phone booth and I'm headed to meet many great historical figures/leaders of our time (Dr. Freud, Napoleon, Abraham Lincoln, ect.) because I have a history report due that will determine whether I pass or fail. Sorry I'm stuck and have no clue how to answer this question Chelly. "Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure" is the only thing that comes to mind, plus I just watched it again recently.

Q: What makes you shake your head?
A: Shaking head in disappointment: Trying to get some decent customer service or help from the clerks at Fry's Electronics.

Q: Most importantly, what makes you shake your rumpah?
A: Of course it's got to be the front to back or back to front wiping action (apologies again to Mezo and to that mental visualization everyone). Seriously, probably a catchy tune or giving someone a miraculous "bad beat" on the river. (Texas Hold'em jargon)

Answers to Mela's questions:

Whose work do you admire?
I've always loved comics and cartoons so probably:
Friz Freleng, Charles Schultz, Don Martin, John K. and many artists here on Threadless as well.

What made you start drawing?
I guess I was always interested in art and drawing at a young age and I remember trying to replicate a drawing of a cartoon Tiger.

What advice can you give to people in general (your philosophy of life)?
I know this sounds cliche but I guess live life to the fullest and try to learn from your mistakes so you don't repeat them in the future.

Conservative or guerilla... which would you pick?
conservative

For ISABOA and atomic child and their inevitable and impending boredom.
