Stylus woes

Ugh, I think my pen died. Granted I've had it for almost five years and I have no idea how long the typical battery lasts. But why now? I was going to try to finish my OSC slogan design thing this weekend. hmph.

Apparently they do. At least this kind. I tried a few tricks I ran across to get it to work again but none helped. But I read at one place there's a battery in it which makes sense I guess. So that's probably dead.
