So I was trying to come up with a design idea for this challenge. And then I realized that what threadless is asking is impossible. You can't truly make a design about the "concept of democracy" and "what democracy means to you" and still adhere to the rules. These companies are only going to print a design that portrays democracy as being a positive thing....which would mean you have chosen a side. Democracy in itself already has a clear political leaning. So this contest disqualifies itself. Seriously, if we could be serious for a minute, the theme should be altered to "concept of liberty" ..or something else that is actually workable. Or the rules should be changed.
about S'more 101
Sorry but it seems that this shirt got printed with some senseless errors. First off, it is a s'mores requirement for at least the marshmallow to be toasted. Also it is assembled wrong. The marshmallow goes on top of the chocolate. No one builds a cheeseburger by sticking the cheese under the burger. And ok, I admit, adding the psi part is cute...but i am am totally lost. Are we supposed to squeeze the marshmallow first at 1.6 psi, then the marshmallow and chocolate together at 3.2 psi, then the whole thing at 5 psi? Are those measurements for using an untoasted s'more as shown? I realize that Mr. Colbow originally used inches for this so I cant fault him. |
I haven't submitted any photos. I guess I don't want free money.
