I was able to attend this years Threadless meetup and I have to say that it was marvelous!

I got to meet Mimi! She had these adorable equestrian boots on (not shown, sadly)





They had all these AMAZING PIZZAS. There was S'mores, Lasagna, BBQ chicken, macaroni and cheese, veggie, pretty much everything to feed your pizza soul.

It should be noted that my awesome Mom made me this dress out of a Mens 2XL It's Toile About You shirt! She even hand-crocheted the little flower in the front. Thank you, Mom! (I'm going to torture her with all the threadless dress ideas I now have.)


Anyway, it was a really fun trip and I got to meet a lot of great people and visit a few friends I have in Chicago.

Threadlesssss I love you

I recently got to visit the Threadless HQ and was bombarded with amazingness from all sides. Thought some of you might enjoy seeing some pics!

Oh man it is 4 AM! I shouldn't have had s'mores for dinner. So hyped on sugar. Ok goodnight!

I get pretty down in the winter, theres not a lot I can do to pull myself up by the bootstraps except draw. I cling to it all winter like it's my security blanket.

When the spring comes back, and the sun starts to shine undeniably bright, it's like a spiritual experience for me! The flowers come back, the birds come back and I come out of my metaphorical burrow. I feel like I see clearer, hear clearer and everything smells great like old leaves mingled with fresh green grass!

It's so good!

This year is especially good! I'm pushing myself to do new things, and to not be so afraid of what people think of me and just reach for what I want.
This is very hard for me, a person who lived most of her life fear-driven, but slowly I am finding my footing and even making a name for myself.

Winning this contest is such a blast. It is really amazing to see what can be done when people believe in you and like what you do! It's not often that I take chances like this, let alone see it pay off.

I am very much a new kid here on this website (oh my gosh what a welcoming committee!), but I am settling in and sticking around! It's a great website. It is full of good people and killer design. My two favorite things!

Got my Bestee of the month medal in the mail today. Wearing that stout little pachyderm around my neck makes me feel like a real champ!
When I first put it on, I thought to myself, how could I thank Threadless? Who is to blame for my boost in self esteem and where could I aim a shout of gratitude? I thought a little blog post would be a good way of getting it out there without specifically bothering anyone with an email

Thank you to the cool staff at Threadless for making my shirt turn out amazing, and being such an accessible company to both customers and most importantly, artists.
Artists have a sucky time in any industry they set foot in, so when we come across a company like this that goes out of it's way to make an artist feel compensated, credited, and heard, It's a real treasure.
When I saw my whole name screen printed on my own shirt, when I realized that there were all these people around the world wearing my shirt with my name on it, I thought, man, this is a rare opportunity to feel amazing.

I've had nothing but a positive experience with this website, and I hope to continue to do so!
