well since i've seen a lot of people posting blogs in regards to new designs they wish to submit, i thought i'd try it too. i didn't want to at first cause i thought it was cheap, but i figure it might be better to get some opinion from all of you in the threadless community.

SO...the design i'm planning on submitting is my profile picture. it's called "monkey see, monkey chew" and i was pleased with how it came out, but it's really hard to see in the profile picture so here's a link to my yahoo page and the pictures are much better.

please tell me what you think!...

Naw, better to hear something before you submit so you can make changes than after everything's said and done.

And as for critques... I really can't think of much. It looks really great. The tree farthest left looks a little small, which makes the gorilla looks huge. That size of the bananas sort of do the same thing, they're really small making the monkey look really big.

Besides that, I like it quite a it. Great color choices too.

Well I guess my only critique would be that there are already several designs printed that do the whole "xray see through thing to show a brain or inner working." Just a sec.. I'll get some links...

Also, I don't think the trees contrast *quite* enough. Right now you can barely barely see them. Just a hint brighter and you could make them visible but keep the same feel.

I agree with blucow the tree in the back ground looks very small due to the angle of the chimps head if he were looking more backward than upward it might help the perspective

I haven't submitted any photos. I guess I don't want free money.

All about me

What's going on all you fine and lovely people of the threadless community. I'm currently at the Rochester Institute of Technology for graphic design and I'm LOVING IT. I hope to eventually have some designs submitted and along with that my fellow college comrades and I are going to be creating a delicious little art website so keep your eyes peeled baby.
