Is there a way to import GIFs with transparent backgrounds into Illustrator, while keeping the background transparent? Whenever I try to do this, I keep getting a solid white background with the GIF.

Thanks.

Save the gif as a layered psd first, then open it up in illustrator. Ill will ask you if you want to open as a flattened image or with layers, if you select with layers, you should be good to go. (There might be a faster way, but this is what I know)
