Do you think that the reporting of eastern states' results when the polls are still open in the west is fair? It seems as though it may reduce the worth of the votes of those in the west, at least in the minds of those voting.

 Top hat! Picture frame! Face paints!
This is what I'm doing for Halloween, please tell me whether you would recognise what I'm supposed to be. I'm going to make a picture frame out of cardboard and attach it to a bowler hat, so that it goes around my face and shoulders. Then I'm going to wear a Victorian-y looking men's jacket, a cravat, and a shirt, but cut them all off at the point where the frame ends. The rest of me will be all in black. I will also paint my face to make myself look as horrific as possible.
Even if you don't get what I'm going for, does it sound suitably Halloweeny? Also, HI.
My laptop, an Advent KC500-P, has just stopped charging. I plug it into the mains, and zilch. What's a girl to do? It's only got 9 minutes of battery time left now.
I have a ton of pretty buttons, including ladybirds, ponies, polka dot hearts, that kind of thing. I could use them to transform a really mundane item into something cute, but what? Anyone have any ideas? I was thinking about stringing them into a necklace, but I guess they would just flip round and it wouldn't look so great.
I just saw this advert on TV (but in English, the tagline is something like 'shake it to wake it'). Are they actively trying to appeal to furries? 'Stop rubbing one out to Lion King fan art for a minute and buy Orangina!' The girl is cute The boy is cute The song is cute Cassettes are cute The concept is cute Also cute are their accents when they talk, but they don't come out in song. Still, CUTE.

The film has been in development since the mid 1990s, going through a number of writers and story ideas, and being put on hold a number of times. Producer Stephen J. Cannell hopes to update the setting, perhaps using the first Gulf War as part of the backstory. The cast has not been revealed, though Singleton hoped Woody Harrelson will take on the role of Murdock, while Ice Cube has expressed interest in the role of B.A. Baracus.
