Seems like there's hardly any designs to vote on lately with this new scoring system.
While I agree the system cuts down on crappy designs it seems like days go by without any designs to vote on.

I agree.

I don't understand. I have voted for everything that is up there and I am waiting for my last submission to come through. It is weird how their are people waiting to vote for other designs and people waiting for days to see their designs and yet there is not much new on the site.

One of the main points of this was to reduce the number of submissions users have to go through at a given time. The average user stops scoring after about 50 designs. Having around 200 up to score is better than having 400.

I guess that I see the point. I'm probably just one of the losers that sits at home voting on shirts whenever I have free time instead of going out and doing something.

I miss having 20+ shirts to vote on per day. Now it's five—if I'm lucky. I need something to keep me occupied at work!

I am one of those who needs something to do at work to. I supose it makes sense for those of your customers who aren't as sad as me and a few others. there a a few of us who would gladly vote 20+ designs everyday.

PS - I am having vague memories now of what life was like pre-Threadless.com. (That's about 6 weeks ago for me)

Part of the joy of this web site was looking for a design I really like. Whether it took me 5 designs or 50, that was the fun and there was plenty to choose from. Today I have had 8 to choose from. None of them appealed to me which was left me unsatisfied.

Am I the only impatient one that is feeling like this?

Thank you Threadless... Sorry for being so impatient... I had a fantastic time scoring all those submissions!!!

um. I like the new scoring system. It would have been very useful when the 2005 contest was going on. There was such a large number of submissions that I was voting constantly, and still was not able to vote on all the submissions. I never even got to the ones that won. I had never seen them before.

I think the OMG clothing site needs to be worked on. It takes too long to download the next page, when you get to the end of one. Whenever I go to the site to vote, I never make it past 3 pages.

(I do like having a little more to vote on, but not if the designs suck. If a design is getting all zeros, and ones, why waste everyone's time with it?)

Strawbs, you only had 8 designs to vote on? I had about 2 pages worth of submissions to sift through.

Hm...

Yeah, there was a break after they put up the first 8 designs and I thought that was it. About an hour or so later they put up all the rest. Once again my impatience got the better of me. I am going to wait for at least 2 hours before whining about something in future. Sorry guys...

Strawbs, I think your CD is skipping...

Personally, I love the fact I can come on here every other day and not have 200 designs to sift through. With 50, I can take my time and really look at them, and the ones that I see are usually at least okay. I find myself hitting the "0" a lot less frequently now, too

I concur with grayehound.
There needed to be a filtering system.

And, Strawbs CD IS skipping.

I think it's the itchy finger on the mouse. That "Post Comment" button is just too juicy a target to only hit once...

Must…have…new submissions to score. <eyes twitch slightly> I can stop anytime—really. Heh heh heh. I've only hit refresh 50x today.

sorry about the skipping... didn't realise I ahd done that. I thought my internet had died completely so I ended up closing the browser window.

I am getting used to this scoring system... it's not that bad. I am just one of those people who enjoy enojoying other people's talent. (even if it means siffting through the millions) But I understand why everyone likes the new system. I will probably appreciate it more as time goes on and as scoring becomes less of novelty.
