I can't see what it is!

At first glance its hard to make out the image - but I don't think that would have anything to do with it. They really should have at least a little "tick off" list or something when they reject submissions, i.e. "Your submission was rejected because it violates [insert violation here]."

Well, if anybody from Threadless sees this can they please give me a hint as to why its declined so i can rework it.

I'm not from Threadless, nor do my views express their views...but, for christs sake, please rework it anyways!

If you had eyes, you wouldn't need me to type a constructive remark...BUT, since you are being so defensive, here goes:
Your design is totally non-recognizable. It appears to be a sad excuse for a face. With an unattractive shattered glass effect?

HOLY MOSES! After staring at it for 47 seconds, i just now spotted what it is! Profile of a girl slicing her lip with an xacto blade?

Point being, your image is not very distinct...at all. Taking another xacto stab at it may help.

OH. And the type is boring. And juts out from the image oddly.

if it took you almost a minute to figure out what it was then maybe you're the one without eyes.

It took me a couple seconds to figure it out too. But I think that makes it all the cooler, because you are using negative space well. And I think it might be lipstick, not an xacto blade, but I could be wrong. I can't see why it would be rejected other than their eyes couldn't make the image out at first either.

yea, the illustration actually looks half decent now that i know what it is. what confused me is the negative space spikes coming from her forehead. they don't seem to be necessary. and the hair kinda looks like its supposed to be defining an eye, so i was trying to figure it out as a frontal view of a face, which looks horrible. either put more negative space so the positive shapes define the image, or put less so that black outlines will define the image.

I guess from looking at it for so long I figured it would be easy to see.

Her lips are currently red...The thing she's putting to her lips is not red. You do the math. Or 'art'. Whatever.
