about Goatse
So many good designs get passed on. Yea, okay, maybe some get passed-on because they're not quite Threadless. But Goatse? It's done. Why not just do a "L337" shirt? Or cut to the chase and print "I AM COOL". I also thought the design was uninspired.

Lost my faith in Threadless.

I haven't lost my faith in threadless, but I agree with you about the Goatse T being completely lame and poorly executed. There are a few designs that have been printed that I question.

Just because I don't like A LOT of the shirts that get printed doesn't mean that I've lost my faith in Threadless.

I am, however, tired of unispired and unoriginal designs. Kinda like this one. Oh well.

yeah. for threadless to seem so 'better than that', it did seem like a step in the wrong direction- that of worn out internet in-jokes. not only that, but it's so cut-paste-filter-font.....i wonder if they'll sell any. i wonder if when some of the lamer winning shirt design stock starts to clog up the warehouse, they'll stop picking these kinds of things. but somebody's $400 happier, and i congradulate them nonetheless...

Why you losing faith in threadless?....even though OMG clothing and threadless are operated by the same people doesn't mean products from OMG clothing are threadless products....

I find it comical "thewebguy" for someone who doesn't have a great deal of talent in design to walk around talking a big game on the subject. But I suppose that you are afforded the luxury of acting like a big boy when you can hide behind the anonymity of the internet. So since we're all pretending to be adults, let's try to keep things civil.

My only real issue with goatse is the lazy design. I don't like the subject material, but threadless doesn't rotate around my personal opinions. I don't HAVE to like everything they do.

I think thewebguy is hurt because I made fun of "L337" and he has "The L337 Core" on his website. Sorry thewebguy, I didn't mean to hurt your feelings.

ASIAM CLOTHING:

GRAPHIC DESIGNERS WANTED

Our vision:

We came together to form Asiam Clothing because we

felt there are no clothing companies that designed

with our tastes in mind. We envision ASIAM CLOTHING as

a clothing line that fits a niche not yet represented

in the retail market. Seeing a lack of merchandise

that fits our needs, we believe that our Asian

American Inspired Clothing Company meets that need.

What we are looking for:

We strive to build strong relationships with talented

young designers thus creating top quality branding. We

are currently hiring per design and looking towards,

per season, to full time employment in the future.

Compensation will be competitive with market prices

starting at $100 per design and up.

If you would like to create or currently have some

prototypes for us to view, some designs we are

currently pursuing are:

1. a dragon embroidered logo

2. a modernized ying and yang design

3. Asian horoscope characters with a retro feel

4. your own view of a design that fits our style

If you are interested in working with our company,

e-mail submissions and your contact information to:

asiamclothing@gmail.com . A follow up meeting will be

scheduled. (No designs will be used without

compensation and/or approval)

Please share this with any parties that you believe

may be interested.
