All I'm going to say right now is that I had a lot more fun this year than any of the other years I've gone.
I felt a lot more comfortable around everyone and this time made sure I didn't let any sort of fear stop me from talking to some of you guys. Thank you to the Threadless staff for putting this event together, and thanks to some amazing community members such as Becca, Phil, Joe, and a bunch of others for organizing a lot of the stuff and for leading people around. I already miss everyone's presence and I can't wait to see you guys again. I love having friends all over the world! Some of the highlights I can think of right now would be: Omair: "Jeffs mom is yelling at him on the phone." Omair: "He's about to cry." Me: ":O" Me: "I'm stuck on the plane. I'll be there asap." Omair: "Yes to comfort Jeff" *I arrive at the food court* Me: "Was your mom really yelling at you?" Jeff: *confused* OMAIR IS A LIAR! He got me though. - Being roomies with HA'PIZZA. Tons of fun times and laughter with you guys and gals. - Alice's double cup Mcdonalds iced coffee. So classy. - Epic straw at Portillos - Homeless dude being a crazy. - Hotel parties - Threadless karaoke party *cough* *hurl* *cough* - Finally meeting Mitchloidolt - Don't shake the sheets! - Me thinking I would get robbed in the hotel's elevator. - Getting laughed at by an Asian couple for being drunk in the hotel's elevator. - Getting crop dusted - Becca dealing with urine on the bathroom floor. - Plaid day HAPPENED! - Jeff got his hersheys kiss flicked. - "I forgot to take my anti-bitch pills!" - Being fed by MOMair. Chicken nuggets in our mouths. - People telling Alvin and Mike to STFU when they were singing happy birthday to Omair. - Having beers and chatting with a lot of you - yam - Fun times at Cody's, which is one of the most chill places I've ever been to. - Jeff putting a new open beer can into the crotch area of his jeans when I took him up to the room. - Cop saying we couldn't have alcohol outside because Portillo's has "special glasses," then he found out that the restaurant changed them. - Nipple time - All of the hugs - Alex being racist and teaching us Asian kids how to drive. - Alex bullying me around (choking and pushing). - Seeing Josh play with the little kid at Millennium Park - ^ Josh's awesome faces - Eating food that wasn't pizza, burgers, or fries because it finally felt healthy to eat some sort of salad. - Seeing pinata Charlie hitting people as he flew by. - Gagging a lot to tease Jeff about his hangovers and trying not to throw up in the hotel's staircase. - Meeting Threadlegends: Brock, Glenn, and Ray - Lim (ilovedoodle) telling me that I was famous. Hahaha. - Listening to the Inception track as I landed in Chicago. - Having Aerosmith's "I Don't Want to Miss a Thing" come on as the last song on my ipod before I landed in California. Some of the stuff I don't miss: - Spilling beer on Phil's shorts, then punching his nose. - Walking forever - Bugs in my beer - Being stressed out at the airport about my flight delays and only having 5 minutes to make my other flight (even though it all worked out by taking me off those flights and being put on a direct flight home).
