Is there an Indie sport?
I was playing MLB Baseball on Xbox, and the entire soundtrack is indie. Is this a sign? Is there a reason why they thought that people who like baseball would like indie? In short, is baseball the indie sport?

this is sure to come out wrong...



the logic, I'm sure, is that baseball is primarily viewed in america by white males. and the primary player of major league baseball video games would be youthful white males. and youthful white males like indie music. and it lets MLB seem "more hip."



note how EA's NBA Live is primarily a rap soundtrack or Madden always seems like a nice mix. not coincidence, I'm sure. you sell to your audience.

Skateboarding is definitely the "indie" sport. Have you ever listened to one of those Tony Hawk game soundtracks? Ugh.

The worst video game soundtrack award (imo) goes to Track Mania Sunrise. It's like the developers had friends that were in crappy local bands and felt obligated to put them on the soundtrack or something.
