The Tree on Sunken Hill

"Growing up, we were always told to stay away from the old tree on Sunken Hill. Our parents presented this restriction to us as matter-of-factly as the other lessons in life: You don't run with scissors, you don't play with fire, and you don't go near the abandoned farm on Sunken Hill. This satisfied us for a few years, but one day, we started to wonder why...."



I was inspired by several people, but mainly by the artist behind the greatest single-panel cartoon ever...can you guess who ?

As I was drawing this picture, a wonderfully weird story came into my head. The quote above is more like a tag-line for the short story, which I will post on here if I finish it in time.
