the 3 cats keyboard is easy to explain to my daughter that is always lookign oevr my shoulder asking me qeustions, how in the world would I explain this one lol
I would sorta wear that one, but the concepts is really old might have to wait a few more years to be able to wear something like that and be funny again
I never used jeeves, but I always liked him because he seemed like a suave, cool guy who knew what the hell he was doing. I mean just look at that fucking suit and his confident expression. I'm amazed he never surpassed google.
I would probably still wear Olly's because apart from being a cool graphic (and super nerdy), the most prominent elements are still quite relevant now. Plus - it's more about the internet as a whole rather than one fad.
The Goatsee one is just... wrong. I actually used it as an example in a discussion to someone the other day as to why I didn't think 3KCM would have any longevity.
I remember getting exited about trying to get my computer onto the internet in 1996. I had no idea what it did, but it involved a lot of listening to that strange modem dialing tone. It was the sound of the future.
I think the goatse tee got reprinted a couple of times though. It's interesting... even though Threadless is really heavily art skewed, I feel there is still room for designs every now and then that may not be designed the greatest, but are a great joke or relevant for a lot of people or have a strong message, etc. A lot of people wear graphic tees as a form of self expression, not always about the art for some people.

that's true, but the fact that design is now officially the highest scoring (and therefore best) design on threadless and will be for god knows how long really kills me.
i'd love to know some stats, like where all those voters came from, how many signed up just to vote on it, and how many clicked $ with no intention of ever buying it.
i respect the skill of the artist, but i find it butt ugly for the same reason as i found the original wolf shirt butt ugly.
