I'm going to 5$ EVERYTHING.

i just put the new decal on my car yesterday. i can't wait to spot someone in a threadless tee and stick the 5$ one on them.

yeah it came with a big car decal that i didnt get in any of my other orders too!

Jake you should make car decal stickers that are clear all around your logo... that way only the logo will show and not a white rectangle... just a suggestion

Now why would threadless make it 5$ when it should be $5? Cause you have to hit the $ before a # otherwise you go to another design.

I got like a bigger thing then usual.. Is it a sticker? Or a window transfer? Or temporary tattoo? Or like, other?

I think '5$' distinguishes it as an abrieviation of '5 & buy' and also means it looks less like a price tag as it would so if the dollar symbol came before the 5.

I envisage a wikipedia entry in 5 years time...

Derived from the scoring system on t-shirt design community Threadless.com: 5 was the highest mark attainable for a t-shirt design on a scale of zero to five, and the dollar symbol appeared on the button that a user would click to indicate that they would purchase the design. Users would comment '5$' to demonstrate that they had given the the design the best score possible.

Threadless.com is now joint owned by Google and BSkyB. The prize for the regular design competition increased year on year and curently stands at $50,000

Newzealander Glen Jones is the most successful Threadless designer, with 154 printed designs.
