2 Live Crew sampled lines from the movie "Full Metal Jacket" a couple of years after the movie came out. If you haven't seen the movie or those scenes you probably won't understand the context.

hi sariko, i hope this design was successful in it's attempt to turn something off-color into something innocent and absurd. i wouldn't want certain words to be associated with me or my work, even indirectly!

tatyana.skripnikova: It is a reference to a song by 2 Live Crew called 'Me So Horny', which in itself is a racist jab at Asian English.

Also, this shirt fits very well for California State University, Sacramento (csus.edu), whose mascot is the hornet and colors are yellow and green :)
