In all seriousness though, most doorings occur because people don't check their mirrors to begin with. You're better off maintaining 4-5 feet of distance from parked cars at all times, even if it means taking a lane (allowed by law pretty much everywhere, btw).

Yes! Sadly, there is a need for a shirt like this. It hasn't happened to me personally, but it has happened to my dad and my friend's little sister.
Though if they're being serious, the shirt should be bright red or yellow. Great idea!
