Went to Amsterdam the other week and this is better than any of the tourist shirts I saw being sold there... so much so that I decided to wait until I got home and buy this as as souvenir instead.

I was only joking. I live near to Amsterdam, so I know the city rather well and although I don't associate it with the stereotypical things, I find that it's never quite silent or serene. There's always something going on. Actually the only reasons I go there are for the music and the art and the lovely atmosphere.

There are other sides to Amsterdam. It's not all about the stereotypical things associated with it. There were so many galleries, and not just the big places like the van gogh.. there were small streets full of exhibitions and shops owned by art dealers. So much food for thought. I'm actually surprised you're asking! ^ ~ ^
Thanks for the comments, all =]
