This is the only relatively cool one. Seriously, if your asking for more then $30 for a shirt it should at least be wearable.
Think about it for a sec................(you) OHH!!!!!
idk why people are hating this cost... for ever one person that buys this shirt its the same thing as 150 people donating 20$ each. We should be encouraging people to buy this shirt instead of being boring and whining about how this type of fundraising is not following the status quo.
So how about we find/gather a group of people who'd be willing to chip in $10 until we reach the 3K goal?
I don't think they're really expecting pople to buy these higher end shirts. I mean a few people might, but it's more about the message of how much these things cost.
I wonder how successful a fund raiser like this will be at a website that traditionally sells t-shirts for ~20 dollars. Well intentioned fund-raising, but I wonder how many people with thousands of spare charity dollars browse the site. I hope this project is also being advertised towards foundations and charitable organizations, because I know I don't have 3K to donate.
A $20-100 donation seems much more reasonable to ask individuals, with or without a t-shirt thank-you gift.
still, I don't think there's going to be anyone thats gonna buy a $3k shirt. Maybe there would be more people buying these if every one costed around 20 or 30 and each purchase was a small share for the big number. And $3k for a motorbike? jesus
It's not about the t-shirt, guys. You're not paying the money to BUY the shirt. You're paying the money for charity and they're just using the shirt as a way to promote that charity.
