I love this design but agree red is not a good choice here. I wish it was heather grey, bright blue or turquoise.

Is it red because it's raining blood now? Weird background color kinda changes the flavor of the original art.

I'll state the obvious and repeat what everyone else said, blue would be better. Red is just weird and out of place as the background color.

I liked this design printed on the turquoise color. Red makes no sense. Any other blue would have.
